Where this sits
Implementation support exists because clients ask for it once a review has been delivered and they have decided what they want to do. It is not the object of an engagement, and it is not something a review is designed to lead towards.
That ordering matters more than it might appear. If recommendations could be shaped by what we might go on to deliver, they would be worth considerably less, and you would be right to discount them.
So the sequence is fixed: independent assessment, then agreed recommendations, then — only if you want it — help putting them into practice.
How it begins
At the end of a review our role has been to provide an independent assessment and identify the opportunities we believe would make the greatest difference. What happens next belongs to you.
Some clients implement everything internally, and often that is the most sensible route: the work is theirs, the knowledge stays with them, and it costs less. Others have the intent but not the capacity, or would rather not learn something from scratch in order to do it once.
Either approach is entirely appropriate. We are not measuring the success of a review by whether work follows it.

These are examples of work clients have asked us to help with following a review. They are not products, there is no menu, and nothing here is offered as a package. What would be appropriate depends entirely on what a review found.
Where a piece of work sits outside what we would take on directly, we say so, and we will often coordinate it instead. Choosing the right supplier and setting a good brief is frequently where the value is.
