Services
Different businesses require different perspectives. Our reviews are designed to help owners understand where opportunities exist, prioritise improvements and strengthen long-term business quality.
One methodology
Many firms create a new methodology for every service they add. Over time that produces inconsistency: different documents, different language, different standards.
Aston Finch operates one framework. Each review simply concentrates on a different part of it. That means the work is recognisably the same whichever review you commission, and it is why the reviews complement one another rather than repeating one another.
Every business is an ecosystem. Improving one area often improves another, and understanding those relationships is usually where the most useful findings come from.
The four areas
Whichever review you commission, the business is looked at through these four interconnected areas. The emphasis changes. The framework does not.
Four interconnected areas, working towards one outcome: long-term business value.

About the Financial Performance ReviewWho they are for
Typically businesses turning over approximately £250,000 to £2 million, where the owner is closely involved in how the business runs.
A review is usually worth considering when an owner:
No immediate plan is required. A business that is well prepared is usually a better business to own in the meantime.
Consistency
Afterwards
Many reviews identify practical improvements. Some clients prefer to implement these internally. Others ask us to provide additional support.
Where appropriate, Aston Finch can assist with delivering agreed recommendations on a separately scoped basis. It follows a review rather than preceding one, and no recommendation exists because we could deliver it.
That is a reasonable place to start. A short, confidential discussion is usually enough to establish which review would be useful, or whether one would be useful at all.
